In any professional role being able to motivate others to perform better is a useful skill; this workshop is ideal for anyone already in, or hoping to develop into, a leadership or management role.
This workshop is designed as an introduction to Motivation Skills. It focuses on the different ways which people are motivated and covers the main theories and approaches to motivation. It is a highly interactive day with lots of discussion, case studies and skills practice.
Having attended the programme learners will be able to:
- Understand how people are motivated and demotivated
- Use the key theories of motivation to motivate team members
- Have more motivating conversations with people
This is a one day workshop which covers a wealth of knowledge to better enable leaders and managers to perform their role successfully.
Using a combination of group work, one to one discussions and sharing personal experiences to which this learning could be applied, the knowledge is embedded with activities and practical exercises, and the day ends with a plan for actioning this new learning in the workplace beyond the workshop.
