Management & Leadership Skills
Anyone who is, or would like to be, in a Management or Leadership position, who would like to gain more skills and knowledge for how to successfully lead a team and manage their people.
This workshop is designed to introduce the fundamentals of managing people.
Many of the topics included are covered in more detail on other workshops, and this is designed as a foundation course on which you can build with those further skills.
Having attended the workshop learners will be able to:
- Understand what gets high performance from others
- Give feedback more effectively
- Have coaching style conversations
- Develop staff using a variety of methods
- Adapt their management style to suit others’ needs
- Help their team develop
A one-day workshop which covers a wealth of knowledge to better enable leaders and managers to perform their role successfully.
Using a combination of group work, one to one discussions and sharing personal experiences to which this learning could be applied, the knowledge is embedded with activities and practical exercises, and the day ends with a plan for actioning this new learning in the workplace beyond the workshop.
