It has been 46 years since the UK’s Sex Discrimination Act was passed – an act designed to change the imbalance, to see women employed and paid equally, represented fairly in senior roles, able to progress their careers without boundaries or the impact of the ‘Glass ceiling’.
There have been huge steps towards that goal in the decades since the Sex Discrimination Act was passed – but there is a long way to go.
