ASK are Finalists
Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce SME Bedfordshire Business Awards 2026
We take huge pride in the work we do, the impact that work has for our clients, and seeing the difference our Leadership Development programmes have made for so many people over the years.
That pride is something ASK celebrate within our own team regularly. We celebrate every win, and praise our people for not only the excellent work they do, but also their dedication, passion and insight – because we know that it isn’t just the results that matter, it’s the culture you work in, and how that makes your people feel.
Celebrating your people matters – which is why we are so happy to announce that ASK are finalists in not one but two categories in this year’s Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce SME Bedfordshire Business Awards:
Business Innovation
Business of the Year less than 50 Employees
If you’ve worked with ASK before – or seen any of our content – you’ll know that we are different to other L&D providers; that our programmes are different to any workplace development you’ve experienced before. That difference comes from our innovative approach to L&D; research shows that up to 80% of workplace learning is forgotten within weeks of the programme – which means that, most of the time, your L&D investment is a total waste. Of money, of time, of potential…and, frankly, we think you deserve better than that.
Rather than shouting about what we’ll teach, the expertise and experience that shape our programmes, the content of the learning, we promise impact…because we don’t sell training – we sell change.
Just what is it that makes us different (and, dare we say it, better) than other L&D providers?
Innovation!
We studied that research, and recognised that the learning is rarely the problem. Nor is it that those who attend workshops don’t want to learn…it’s that most L&D providers abandon learners, right after the workshops!
Without ongoing support, and structured opportunities to apply what you’ve learned, to transfer learning into your daily work and real, practical processes there’s no way to practice your new skills. To embed them. To turn theory into practice, and new knowledge into habit.
Our innovative approach to how L&D programmes are delivered is why we can promise lasting impact – and why our clients trust us to deliver real, measurable change. Engage, Learn, Transfer.
Engage, Learn, Transfer
Engage people before learning begins; build enthusiasm and commitment, so learners understand not only what they’ll be learning but why it matters, where it will help them, the problems they can overcome, the goals they will work towards. Deliver learning that’s tailored around those needs. Then – and most importantly – Transfer that learning into the workplace, with support and structure, so that it can change what needed to be changed.
We do all this with a very small core team – but, from our Cranfield base, we deliver impactful Leadership Development programmes globally, for some of the biggest organisations in both the public and private sectors.
With more than 30 years in the business of delivering change, our incredible team continue to strive for excellence, to study the most up-to-date methods and techniques for Leadership, Learning and business success, and delight in sharing that expertise and insight with our clients, whether it’s a one-off workshop or a decade long Leadership Development programme!
The award ceremony will be held in Bedford on June 18th, and we can’t wait to see the other finalists on the day, to share local business success stories, to see that success rewarded, and to celebrate everything our own people have accomplished to secure our place as finalists!
If you would like to see that impact in your own organisation, and overcome the learning transfer gap so that you get more from your L&D investment in 2026, we can help.
