ASK offers a unique on-line follow-through tool, ASK Elephant®, to support the transfer and application of new skills and capabilities from the point of learning to the workplace. It also enables detailed monitoring of progress towards the achievement of personal development goals and measurement of impact on organisational performance.
Easy to use, it makes use of email and the web to extend the learning experience, keep business and development goals in mind, and motivate individuals to apply their learning to priority business objectives. It requires no additional software, training or IT support.
This powerful follow-through tool emails participants to remind them of their business and development goals, and provide a link to a secure website where their action plans have been recorded. As well as providing access to an electronic directory of practical, goal-specific actions, it allows learners to engage one or more coaches to support their development and enables selected leaders to track individual or group progress, communicate with users and view results.
For participants who are uncertain as to how to progress their goals, it provides further learning opportunities through its GuideMe™ coaching tool and 50 Lessons video vignettes. It also promotes dialogue by inviting feedback, providing periodic progress reports for the participant’s line manager.
ASK Elephant® also creates a record of each participants’ actions, feedback received and results achieved, providing data for tracking the impact of the programme on the organisation and measuring the extent to which new skills have been transferred and applied in the workplace.
